Where God quenches thirst!

Court Appointed Mentor Program

The Well encourages people to volunteer in existing programs as well as new opportunities to improve the lives of children.  One such local program is C.A.M.P. - the Court Appointed Mentoring Program.  Court Appointed Mentors are trained community volunteers appointed by a judge to serve as additional support and encouragement as the family progresses through the Families In Need of Services (FINS) early intervention program.

In order to become a Mentor, the volunteer must:

  • Be over the age of 18
  • Consent to a background check and drug screen
  • Commit to at least 1 hour of volunteer time per week
  • Complete an application and training course
  • Authorize a statement of commitment and pledge of confidentiality
  • Accept supervision from C.A.M.P. manager, staff and court

For volunteer information, contact the C.A.M.P. office at 985-543-3290 or email latino_ti@citycourt.org.
