What a GREAT EASTER celebration!  It is evident that the joy of the resurrected Lord is present at The Well!

At The Well, we call our small groups carafes.  It is where our faith is nurtured.  There are several of these beginning after the Easter season.  Let me encourage you to find your way into one of them.  There are carafes for study as well as carafes for fellowship.  Both of these are vital to our growth.

There are also some places for service.  Heather is needing some help with children's church and VBS.  These are wonderful places where our children are nurtured and encouraged in the faith.  If you are willing and able, please contact Heather at heather@thewellumc.com to find your place of service.

Join us if you can.  I want to invite you to consider making The Well your church home if you do not have one.  The Well is a great place to make friends while deepening your faith.  You can join The Well any Sunday during the time of the service after the sermon called Holy Moments.  Just come forward to speak to me.

In the United Methodist Church, pastors are appointed for a year at time.  There comes a time when there is a pastoral change.  June 23rd will be my last Sunday as pastor of The Well.  I will be appointed as Lead Pastor at St. Luke Simpson UMC in Lake Charles.  The best news is that Matt Rawle will be the pastor at The Well.  Matt is a wonderful and gifted pastor.  You will love him and his family.  Feel free to write him a note of welcome at Matt@thewellumc.com. Keep all in your prayers as we go through this time of transition. The Well has been a great blessing to Mandy and me.  We will look back at our time at The Well with great memories.

Pray for me as I pray for you

In the Master's Name,

Jack O'Dell,  Lead Pastor
